Extended Warranty Programme

WHO CAN JOIN THE 5FY PROGRAM?

Any SUEX DPV owner as long as the DPV has been purchased as end-user item (i.e. without the use of a VAT number) and not as a Company, a self-employed person or a person using the DPV for professional reasons.

WHAT ITEMS ARE COVERED BY THE 5FY PROGRAM?

The program is exclusively applicable to DPV bought from January 1st 2022 onwards for private use and non-professional use and it covers the manufacturing faults on the following items:

  • Plastic and aluminum bodies (scratches and bumps excluded)
  • Prop lock propeller and knob
  • Motor
  • Electronics (batteries excluded)

HOW TO JOIN THE 5FY PROGRAM?

  1. Record your data as a consumer filling in the form you’ll find at the following link https://www.suex.it/en/reserved-area/
  2. Record your DPV details and activate the product warranty through the following actions: click on the following link https://www.suex.it/en/reserved-area/add-your-suex/ choose the DPV model among the listed ones, write your DPV serial number, attach the original copy of the purchasing document. Suex will cross check the correctness and the validity of the entered data.
  3. Make the maintenances operations mandatorily requested by the 5FY program, i.e.:
    • WITHIN 2 YEARS FROM THE DPV DATE OF PURCHASE:
    • S2 MAINTENANCE SERVICE if the DPV has been used up to 399 hours
    • S3 MAINTENANCE SERVICE if the DPV has been used for 400 hours or more
    • RIGHT TO JOIN THE 3rd YEAR OF THE 5FY WARRANTY PROGRAM
    • WITHIN THE END OF THE 3RD WARRANTY YEAR WITHIN THE 5FY PROGRAM:
    • S2 MAINTENANCE SERVICE if the DPV has been used up to 399 hours
    • S3 MAINTENANCE SERVICE if the DPV has been used for 400 hours or more
    • RIGHT TO JOIN THE 4th YEAR OF THE 5FY WARRANTY PROGRAM
    • WITHIN THE END OF THE 4TH WARRANTY YEAR WITHIN THE 5FY PROGRAM:
    • S3 MAINTENANCE SERVICE regardless the total hours of use
    • RIGHT TO JOIN THE 5th YEAR OF THE 5FY WARRANTY PROGRAM
  4. Choose one of the SUEX 5FY SERVICE CENTERS centers enabled to carry on the 5FY program. You may find the list at the following link https://www.suex.it/en/dealers/ once you’ve completed your registration

THE 5FY SERVICE CENTER

The premium service technician has the responsibility to check the customer and product data registrations and then to proceed with the online mandatory maintenance registration (online service booklet). Furthermore it will have to cross check the correctness of the product serial number in the system. In case the details recorded by the consumer are not correct, it will not be possible to complete the registration. In case the details supplied by the customer are correct the service center may proceed with the needed steps to prepare the maintenance operations, i.e.:

  • Cross check of the warranty terms (suggested by the system if available)
  • Confirm the kind of DPV use (private and non-professional)
  • Do the needed maintenance operations
  • Enter the whole service information relevant to the maintenance level done and confirm the extension warranty terms (suggested by the system)
  • Upload the maintenance invoice or charging document
  • Upload of the screenshot taken from the Calypso App reporting the motor hours of usage. NOTICE: the screenshot taken from the Calypso App will have to show the same date as the date on the invoice done for the maintenance. Both documents will have to be viewable as complete documents and showing exactly the same date. Differently the documents will not be considered valid and the warranty extension program not implementable.
